Our Focus

“Our primary focus is on providing educational scholarships to girls at risk who are committed to excel but are unable to attend school.  With support and encouragement  we feel they will make positive contributions within their communities through the gift of education”

We strongly support the development of community leaders, particularly girls and women.  These potential future leaders will serve as role models for others by demonstrating a commitment to community service in areas of education, healthcare and the environment.

We also believe local communities are the best experts at determining their own priorities, needs and approaches to problem-solving.  We believe that relevant, durable and meaningful solutions begin at the grassroots level and move outwards.  We strive to be culturally-sensitive, collaborative and equitable in our efforts to support community development and encourage future leaders.

Our Mission

To help women and girls bring about positive change in their lives and communities. We provide improved access to education and support sustainable community development initiatives through womens’ empowerment projects.

Our Objective

“Keeping girls in school” – will help to develop future leaders that are active members of their community and serve as role models and mentors to others – a catalyst for positive change.

Currently, our work focuses on Nepal – a country with tremendous cultural wealth and natural beauty but insufficient resources to provide basic education and primary health care to its citizens, particularly girls and women in rural communities.
