Our Programs

Our programs are evolving as we gain experience and feedback.  Participants and supporters of our main program, Education Scholarships, will lead the development of future community service projects.  The Empowerment Projects that we support are to help women in rural communities with the opportunity to improve the quality of their lives through training and potential income generation.

 

Program	Goals	Key Points
Education Scholarships	Cultivate future community leaders by supporting students as they complete secondary and post-secondary education. Facilitate direct involvement in community service projects and encourage the development of leadership skills – both during and after completion of studies.	Kina provides financial support through yearly scholarships to program participants. Participants must maintain a high level of academic achievement and demonstrate leadership potential through community service and social action.
Empowerment Projects	Support partner organizations in delivering community based projects that provide women within a community with skill enhancement, business training, and access to micro financing loans.	The projects that we support must include a dimension of educational uplift, have a positive and immediate impact on the community, be fully inclusive, and sustainable long term.
